Background

Julian E. Gray was born in New York City, New York and raised in Center Township, Beaver County, just a few miles west of the Offices of Springer, Bush & Perry. Julian earned his Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and received his Juris Doctor degree from the Duquesne University School of Law.

Professional

Julian serves as Vice President and Executive Committee member of the firm and is the Chair of the Firm’s Elder Law Practice Group. Julian concentrates in the areas of elder law, including estate planning and administration, and related real estate transactions. Julian is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Beaver County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Mr. Gray is one of only 3 Certified Elder Law Attorneys (CELA) in Allegheny County, a designation conferred by the National Elder Law Foundation. The CELA designation is the only Elder Law certification authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. For more than 10 years, Mr. Gray has represented individuals and families with the complex legal, financial, tax and real estate issues involved in a variety of elder law and estate planning issues, with a focus on asset protection planning for senior citizens in the areas of Medicaid and Medicare benefits. Julian is a frequent author and lecturer for continuing legal education programs sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and National Business Institute, as well as continuing education programs accredited by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Gray also maintains a busy speaking schedule with numerous presentations to civic and social organizations, financial planners and accountants on various Elder Law and Estate Planning topics. Personal

Julian and his wife, Laura, have two sons and reside in Peters Township.
