Background

Robert E. Harper, a lifelong resident of the Airport Area of Pittsburgh, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Bob served in the United States Army as a combat infantry rifle platoon leader in Chu Lai, Vietnam having been assigned to the 1/52nd Infantry Battalion, 9th Infantry Brigade, 23rd Infantry Division.

Professional

Bob serves as President and Executive Committee member of the firm. Bob counsels and represents clients in real estate development, both residential and commercial, zoning and land use management, business and commercial transactional matters. Bob is also extensively involved in estate and trust planning and administration.

In the Allegheny County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Bar Association, Bob is a member of the Real Estate Law Section. In addition to these professional organizations, Bob is actively involved in the community, serving as the lay leader of the Coraopolis United Methodist Church, the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the United Methodist Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce. Bob served as the chairman for three years of his six year term as a member of the Moon Township Board of Supervisors. Bob serves on the Board of Visitors of the School of Communications and Information Systems of Robert Morris University. Bob was named as the Corporate Business Person of the Year 2003 by the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce and in 2004 received the “Jenny Award” for his service and work with the Chamber. Bob is a Mason, Shriner and a member of the Scottish Rite.

Personal

Bob and his wife, Barbara Kennedy Harper, have three sons and live in Moon Township.
